Stefanini is looking for a Software Test Engineer in Richmond, VA.
What You Will Do: Design and develop system test cases which validate CI/CD (focus on CD) cloud-based account/VPC requirements, test established guardrails and security requirements. Develop test applications to verify CI/CD pipelines and Cloud Account guardrails/security requirements. Assist in the development of distributed workload generators for load, stress and scalability testing against clusters and multiple nodes. Participate in product spec/design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems regarding testability. Develop or specify standards, methods, or procedures to determine product quality or release readiness. Design detailed test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures of software and production data in a secure environment with a focus on automated testing. Maintain documentation of test plans and their results using a test case management system with focus on automated testing. Manage software defects using a bug tracking system and work closely with software developers and systems engineers to analyze the defects and track them to resolution. Responsibilities:6 to 9+ years of relevant work experience Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification (preferred) Environmental and Physical Requirements: Will require the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, etc. Physical Demands: Requires some degree of sitting (for prolonged periods of time), standing, lifting carrying, pushing, pulling more than 20 lbs. May require extended work hours. Occasional travel including overnight stays may be necessary. May be subject to on-call and call back as needed. May be exposed to moderate noise from equipment.
Qualifications:The Senior Test Engineer will contribute direction and oversight for the I2SO Test Team which tests infrastructure and applications across both the functional and performance testing sphere. Senior Test Engineers also develop standards and creates roadmaps for automated test execution.In addition, the position will participate in key initiatives in support of customer and National IT infrastructure projects as well as in the service offerings created/maintained within the I2SO and NIT organization. The position will work closely with teams from across National IT and customers to consult and develop testing solutions that delivery business value. The Senior Test Engineer will be called upon to provide leadership and support for critical I2SO initiatives, including services for both on-prem and Cloud.
