DescriptionThe Staff Accountant will be an experienced and highly motivated individual, who encourages and promotes a collaborative culture, and development and support of staff members. A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and 2 years of experience are required.RequirementsResponsibilities:Prepare federal, state and local individual, business, fiduciary, and non-profit income tax returns.Support clients with communications to the IRS and other state taxing agencies.Maintain and promote good client relations by working closely and professionally with clients and their personnel.Working with individual clients to execute tax planning and saving strategies.Working with business clients providing accounting services by preparing monthly financial reports, reconciliations, consulting on business matters and other bookkeeping functions.Knowledge and Skills:Understanding and experience in preparing tax returns for individuals and businesses.Experience and proficiency using QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel is essential.Maintain strong written and oral communication skills with clients and ability to work well in a team environment.Experience with Lacerte tax software and BNA Income Tax Planner a plus.Other InformationBenefits package includes health insurance coverage, retirement plan, profit sharing plan, seasonal flexible work schedule, and paid vacation and holidays for full time employees.Robert Half Finance & Accounting, the world's leader in specialized financial staffing, provides exciting full-time opportunities in the areas of accounting, bookkeeping, finance, audit, taxation and more.
