We are expanding our services, building a new state of the art clubhouse and restaurants, health and wellness center with swimming pool, apartments, and hybrid-homes. We are seeking a professional and hospitality-minded individual to manage and continuously improve our food service program. The successful candidate will be responsible for improving and managing the food service operations in our dining rooms, lounge, café and catered events. Three years food and beverage management experience in a retirement community, country club, hotel or other food service operation is required. Must possess a thorough knowledge of food safety and sanitation, restaurant service, and food preparation. ServSafe Manager Certification is desirable. Candidate will be required to complete the ServSafe Manager Certification and work weekends. Basic knowledge of wine and mixed beverages is required.
Other relevant skills include planning, organizing, multi-tasking, leadership, creativity, and effective written and oral communications. Staff training, interviewing, scheduling, customer and staff dispute resolution, progressive discipline, and data management. A working knowledge of POS systems and programming, and administering staff training is required. The candidate must have a passion for improving the dining experience and the employee work environment.
This is a full-time position with excellent salary (mid to upper 40s) and the following benefits:
