Position Overview: This is a full-time position (40 hours) in a very busy optometrist office. Our hours of operation are Monday - Friday 8:30 am to 6:00 pm. The successful candidate will be an optician helping patients with their glasses.
Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be responsible for helping patients select eyeglass and lens treatment, collecting eye measurement, creating work orders for lab technicians to ensure delivery of the proper lenses, and keeping track of orders, prescriptions, and inventory.
Other duties will include adjusting eyeglasses to ensure a proper fit, repairing broken frames, and educating clients on proper eyeglass care.
Qualifications:
- Must have experience in medical field
- Can multi-task while paying attention to detail
- Highly motivated and can learn quickly
- Can adapt well to professional environment
- Good organizational skills
- Must work well with others
