Chesterfield Auto Parts - Midlothian location is a self service or pick-your-part type salvage yard. This location offers truck, SUV, and van parts. We are now hiring for the following positions:
Full Time Production labor / Part Time Parts Puller:
Production workers turn old products such as vehicles into useful, environmentally safe raw materials. This is an out-doors position, so production works when it is cold, hot, raining, snowing, etc. Production works Monday - Friday 7am-4pm most of the year but in our hot summer months (like right now!) the hours are from 6am-3pm. Position includes, but is not limited to; preparing the vehicles from the time they are brought into the lot, to placing them out in the field and ready for our customers. For example, the production department disassembles motors, removes batteries and other parts from the vehicles, drains the fluids, cleans out trash, and tears down wheels and tires. Other labor intensive tasks may also be assigned. The right candidate will also be able to pull parts when needed. This candidate must have above average knowledge of all the different parts of vehicles, including motors, transmissions, etc., and be proficient in how to remove parts efficiently and quickly. This position rewards our parts pullers by not only paying by the hour, but also pays a percentage of labor sales for every part you pull each month!
