Western Express is coming to Ashland, VA! We are a large tiered trucking company based out of Nashville, TN with operations all over the country. We run 3,000 power units made up of Internationals with Cummins engines, Freightliners, and Volvos, also around 7,000 dry van and flatbed trailers. We are excited to announce the opening of our new facility in North Richmond, just off I-295 and I-95, expecting to open in mid-June.
Schedules will be Sunday â Wednesday and Wednesday â Saturday, with 11-hour shifts.
Positions Available:
⢠Diesel Technicians: minor to moderate repairs, preventative maintenance, CSA and DOT inspections and necessary repairs. Qualifications of at least 2 years of verifiable experience with heavy equipment or diesel school graduate. Experience in diagnosing and assessing electrical, suspension, aftertreatment and engine codes or complaints. Pay ranges from $17.00 - $27.00 per hour.
⢠Trailer Technicians: minor to moderate repairs, preventative maintenance, CSA and DOT inspections and necessary repairs. Qualifications of at least 1 year of verifiable experience in the maintenance industry. Experience in braking, suspension, electrical components, knowledge of mounting/dismounting tires. Any welding experience is a plus. Pay ranges from $15.00 - $23.00 per hour.
