Caliber Equipment Inc is currently looking for a Utility Shop Assistant / Driver!
You will assist with duties in the shop, including cleaning machines and preparing them on pallets to ship, loading and unloading trucks and trailers, keeping the technician and shop area clean and safe, etc. You will also be responsible for both local and semi-local customer equipment deliveries via company truck and trailers within the immediate Richmond, VA area along with Virginia Beach/Norfolk and Washington, DC/Maryland when required.
A GREAT DRIVING RECORD IS A MUST.
Responsibilities:
Perform deliveries and pickups of large equipment via open and closed trailers.
Assist our shop with tasks such as preparing machines to ship, cleaning equipment, etc.
Maintain a clean driving record.
Qualities preferred, but will also train:
Forklift operation certification
High School graduate, trade school preferred.
Basic mechanical experience a big plus.
Experience in maintaining an accurate schedule and record of performance.
