Xymid LLC is a collection of businesses that spun off from DuPont in 1998. Xymid specializes in composite print sleeves, bridge mandrels and protective roll covers for the flexographic printing industry and a variety of technical composite fabrics for commercial and military use. We have an opening for a Machinist in our Print Sleeves Manufacturing Department located off Interstate 95 at the Walthall exit.
This position utilizes machine tools such as milling machines, cylindrical grinders, lathes and saws to produce various parts for the printing industry.
Must have previous machine shop experience, including running manual lathes and milling machines. Should have experience operating saws, vertical mills, cylindrical grinders and using measuring devices such as tape measures, PI-Tape®, and micrometers. Must be dependable, detail oriented, and flexible. Must be able to manage multiple processes, sometimes with pressing deadlines and work overtime or an alternative work schedule. The position requires frequent lifting, pushing and pulling objects up to 50 pounds.
