Job Summary
CHATs workforce development programs is looking for someone with a passion for screen printing and youth workforce development. This job entails oversight of a screen printing program, On Point Prints, aimed at equipping and serving teens and young adults from Richmonds East End with job skills and experience operating a print shop. This person is responsible for the reputation of the screen printing program aimed at producing quality print materials that also supports a healthy learning environment for youth. Our screen printing studio currently focuses on printing T-shirts, bags, and other print materials. This position will work closely with CHATs other workforce development programs including the Front Porch Cafe, where space is available for merchandising.
Specific Responsibilities
Share, teach, and inspire a passion for screen printing and the creative arts
Manage a small team of teen & young adult participants, including training, development, and management
Plan, develop, and implement curriculum and training program that inspires youth participants
Responsible for managing printing operations, ensuring that the quality of the product meets customer standards
Develop and manage screen printing sales process
Manage communication with customers and assist customers with design related questions

Share a commitment to serving and engaging Richmonds East End community
Screen printing experience is required
Merchandising experience and design background is preferred
Have a passion for working with urban teens and young adults
Position Overview & Compensation:
Part-Time Position: 10 - 15 hours per week, Summer Hours may differ
Reports to Workforce Development Director
Pay: Hourly Pay Commensurate with experience
