Anchor Point Marina in Hopewell, VA is looking for a part-time associate for their retail store located on site. We are offering this water-front office space to a self-starter who is customer focused, organized, and able to communicate marina policies clearly. This is a great position for someone who enjoys customer service and understands the vibe of the summer boating community.
Qualifications include:
Retail sales and customer service experience
Experience operating a POS (point of sale) register system
Knowledge of marina and boating terminology
Must be able to work Thursday - Sunday (some flexibility within these days)
Must be able to obtain an ABC License
Responsibilities include:
Efficiently operate store register and accurately manage cash/card transactions
Maintaining inventory and stocking of merchandise
Keeping the store organized and clean
Interacting with customers and boaters, in person and on the phone, to schedule dock services
Must be able to work independently with minimal oversight
Communicate with management any additional needs or concerns that arise from marina operations (boater conduct issues, additional cleaning services, repairs, etc)
