Summary: Function as part of the Sales team, concentrating on sound, lighting, and video to generate quotes and sales. Work with designated manufacturers and other suppliers to provide quality solutions for customers. Assist with general inside sales as needed. Promote products and services to existing and potential customers and develop ongoing business relationships.
Minimum Requirements: College degree preferred. Work or military experience will be considered in addition to or in lieu of degree. Experience in A/V/L equipment and installation. Understanding of: signal flow, plug-ins, sound design techniques; microphone techniques, recording techniques, processing, and editing; and/or experience with video and projection design systems, including matrix outlines and broadcasting/streaming operations. Ability to work with suppliers to provide quality sound, lighting, and video designs using appropriate models (ex: EASE). Ability to convey instructions and training to non-technical users (customers). Attention to detail even under tight deadlines. Make initial contact(s) with existing and potential customers. Develop new leads and opportunities. Be a self-starter and possess the drive to succeed. Work well on a team and independently. Excellent communication skills, self-motivated, organized, and manage time well. Basic computer skills (e.g. Office 365) and standard industry-related operating software. Ability to learn other software applications as needed.
