Environmental Contracting with over 60 years of experience providing drilling solutions to federal, state, local, and private sector clients.
Responsibilities/Duties: Our Techs work in a wide range of roles. This position supports clients with environmental characterization, remediation and construction projects. Candidates will be responsible for execution and evaluation of environmental investigation and remediation projects via drilling and sampling for clients of various backgrounds.
Tasks may also include one or more of the following:
- Driving;
- Operation of a variety of Geoprobe;
- Maintenance
- Various daily tasks
This position will require some travel, overtime, and everyday physical work. lifting at times 100lbs.
Required Skills:
- Must be mechanically inclined;
- Valid driver license;
- Good attitude, willing to learn and be trained
Must possess excellent communication skills.
The successful candidate will also demonstrate a history of responsibility, initiative, motivation and creativity. Must possess analytical skills and a high level of attention to detail.
Required Experience: Three or more years of directly related work experience is required. Can be substituted heavy equipment operation or the like.
Required Education: High school equivalency or B.S. degree in environmental, or relevant environmental science is required.
Additional Requirements: Current OSHA HAZWOPER certification is preferred. Must be in good physical health and able to lift up to 100 pounds in performance of field duties.
