L&W Supply is a leading specialty distributor of drywall, ceiling tiles, steel framing and other building materials used by commercial and residential contractors. L&W Supply delivers the products and capabilities offered by a national distributor paired with the service and personal touch usually found only in a locally owned business.
L&W Supply is looking for a success-driven individual to join its team and ensure branch operations are running smoothly and efficiently.Specific duties may include:
Coordinating deliveries with sales team and customers, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction
Managing cost of delivery, covering all expenses related to labor, equipment and supplies
Working closely with warehouse management to ensure on-time delivery
Managing delivery equipment to ensure safe operations and compliance with all DOT and OSHA regulations
Monitoring and evaluating performance of all delivery personnel and provide them with direction
Provide support to customer service representatives to ensure customer satisfaction
Making sure that trucks are not overloaded and that all loads fall within standard weight limits for each vehicle
Assessing job site delivery requirements and assigning appropriate delivery vehicles
Resolving all vehicle safety issues logged by drivers by routing vehicles to the appropriate service facilities for needed repairs
Keeping customers informed of delivery statusSpecific qualifications include:
High school degree or equivalent required
Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritize responsibilities and manage multiple service needs simultaneously
5 years’ experience in material delivery, warehouse, and/or logistics preferred
