Crandall & Katt, a prominent personal injury law firm in Roanoke, Virginia has an immediate opening for a settlement paralegal. Paralegals in this firm must be highly responsible individuals, capable of prioritizing conflicting demands, meeting multiple deadlines, and juggling a variety of tasks. Excellence in computer and clerical skills, organization, accuracy and attention to detail are a must, as well as the ability to analyze information. Our expectation is for paralegals to work both independently and as a member of a settlement team under the direct supervision of an attorney, so cooperation and flexibility are also required.
As a personal injury law firm, we put our clients needs first and must have employees who do the same. Each paralegal has a full caseload of clients they are responsible for, so we are looking for someone who would be excellent with both the files of injured clients and the clients themselves. You need to be kind and caring, with excellent customer service skills, both in person and on the phone. Paralegal degree preferred but not required.
