Quality Assurance will work in coordination with the Quality Manager of quality to implement clearly defined policies and procedures designed to increase efficiency and ensure the highest quality for all products. This role requires a highly detailed individual that will drive continuous improvement methods and showcase measurable results.Responsibilities: Analytical and physical testing of products produced within the facility Monitoring of critical quality systems Review of production line parameters and performance for adherence to company standards Comply with all operating and facility procedures Comply with all quality guidelines Generating and shipping samples for outside analytical testing Responsible for laboratory cleanliness and organization Responsible for documentation of testing, holding products, internal investigations and root cause analysis Ability to work in fast-paced and always changing environment Comply with all OSHA Hazard Materials Procedures Follow all safety and GMP guidelines Follow all policies and procedures as applicable Working closely with processors and production line QC techniciansWorking hours: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AMSkills:-Must have a mechanical aptitude -Wet chemistry capability an asset (titrations, pH adjustment, and acid/base dilution) -Knowledge of Quality systems and applications are required.-Proficient in Microsoft Office-Interpersonal and communication skills-Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and decision-making abilitiesEducation:High SchoolExperience:ExperiencedQualifications:1. Qualifications High school degree with excellent mathematics and problem solving skills Associate degree in related field is an added plus 3+years experience in quality role within manufacturing environment Must have good organizational skills with proficiency in MS Outlook programsa.
