Summary/ObjectiveÂ
Shows and lease apartments to prospective residents and supports property managers marketing plan.
Essential Functions

To greet and assist residents, prospective residents and visitors promptly and courteously.
Answer all telephone calls promptly and provide courteous assistance to callers: schedule appointments, give rental information etc.
Maintain office coverage.
Provide all residents, prospective residents and visitors with accurate information that pertains to the community.
Show and demonstrate apartments following proper show procedures.
Conduct follow-up on all inquiries through telephone and written correspondence.
Assist with all marketing events for residents and prospective residents.
Process applications thoroughly and promptly and submit to Property Manager for approval.
Inspect available apartments and model daily for show qualify and maintenance work orders.
Become familiar with and follow company policies as well as Fair Housing Laws and Practices, Virginia Housing Development Authority (VHDA) guidelines and the Virginia Residential and Landlord Tenant Act (VRLTA).
Prepare leasing and move in packets

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position; typical work hours and days are Monday through Friday, with hours between 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturday hours 10:00am to 3:00pm. Hours are subject to change based on business needs.
Travel/ Driving
No travel is expected for this position. Occasional need to utilize personal transportation to make (reimbursed) trips to bank, post office and also to visit corporate offices.
Required Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in leasing/sales/customer service a plus
