Trims/ removes trees by climbing, using safety belt and climbing line or works from the ground using gas-powered saws, pruner, etc. He/she cuts branches into manageable sections and drops/lowers pieces to the ground.
Loads/unloads trucks with stumps, logs, brush, and feeds debris/brush into chipper.
Repairs slight damage to fences, sidewalks, lawns, etc.
Services tools.
Directs traffic, drives, operates equipment/trucks. Keeps work area orderly.
Helps train new employees.
Performs other work as assigned.
Occasionally work in proximity to power lines.
Work in a variety of temperatures and weather conditions, and in environments where exposed to poisonous/ stinging plants, insects, and dust/pollen.
Work around loud equipment.
Must be able to wear PPP as required.
Must be able to legally and safely operate company vehicles and equipment.
Must have no fear of heights.
Must be able to lift 50+ pounds.
Must have own transportation.
Must have a valid Driver's License.
MUST BE A TEAM PLAYER AND HAVE A POSITIVE ATTITUDE.
