Jantec, Inc. is accepting immediate submissions for a General Maintenance Worker (GMW) I and II for our customer, the United States Marshall Service (USMS) in Arlington, VA.
This is a fulltime assignments working Monday - Friday, 0900-1730.
The selected candidates must be able to clear and maintain a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) for the duration of this mission. The NACI process takes up to 90 days to complete before starting the assignment.
The GMW II will be Jantec's senior employee on this mission.
The selected candidates must be able to complete the following:
Responsibilities:
Ability to perform light electrical repairs
Ability to perform light plumbing repairs
Moving of furniture, material, equipment
Ensure dry walls are maintained to a high standard
Systems furniture is broken down or rearranged as specified by the customer request
Carpet is cleaned and maintained to the customer's level of satisfaction
Maintain concrete structures and keep them clean to avoid damage, degradation or erosion
Complete sealing and etching as needed
Painting structures and equipment as needed and detailed by the customer
Maintain ceiling or floor tiles for appearance and to meet safety requirements
All other general maintenance functions as outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW) associated with this assignment
Requirements:
MUST BE ABLE TO CLEAR AND MAINTAIN A NACI - 90 DAYS TO PROCESS
MUST BE ABLE TO CLEAR PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS
MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF ONT (1) TO THREE (3) YEARS OF GENERAL MAINTENANCE EXPERIENCE
MUST POSSESS AND MAINTAIN A VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE
MUST BE PROFESSIONAL AT ALL TIMES WHEN INTERACTING WITH THE CUSTOMER, VENDORS AND COWORKERS
