Provides clinical informatics support to the Wave Change Management team. Participates in workflow review, gap analysis and change impact. Assists with review of key high impact workflows. Performs the tasks of the Deployment Adoption Clinical staff including review of workflow impact to support the deployment of the electronic health record across services.
Understands hospital and/or ambulatory business and clinical practices as well as deployment of technology into Healthcare environments. Facilitates Business Process Change and will provide Change Management Consulting to ensure that organizational aspects (i.e. organizational culture, fit, etc.) are addressed as new enabling technologies are implemented. Individuals in this job family will have regular interaction with members of the Partnership as well as staff from the service facilities. Consultants may also work on projects at customer sites alone or with a team. (It should be understood that this is not intended to be a detailed nor comprehensive description of any individual employee's job content. Managers set the specific duties and responsibilities for each employee).
As part of the engagement team, helps establish and recommend changes to processes to continue to optimize the electronic health record design. The individual is responsible for client satisfaction and quality of services delivered. Some barrier-to-entry (I.e. dept/peer review) exist at this level.
Primary Responsibilities

  • Provides clinical expertise to the Change Management team within a Wave
  • Facilitates workflow review sessions
  • Performs technical and business related research to support client needs
  • Assists in the installation/implementation, development and analysis of materials/processes/systems.
  • Works with team in the analysis, formulation, development and delivery of engagement material and results.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree and 9+ years' experience
  • RN with BSN
  • Previous Cerner workflow and Informatics experience
