Apex Systems has an Urgent Need for an onsite Technical Support Specialist! This will be a 6 Month+ Contract supporting one of our Major Health Insurance Clients in the United States with potential to go Tier II and Tier III after the contract! Please see below for details.

Title: Tier 1Technical Support Specialist

Location: On-Site / Remote Flexibility if proven responsible

(Hourly) Contract Pay Rate: $10 - $13

Contract Type: 6 Month Contract (Potential for Tier II and Tier II after)

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical assistance to computer users.
  • Answer questions or resolve computer problems for clients in person, or via telephone or electronically.
  • May provide assistance concerning the use of computer hardware and software, including printing, installation, word processing, electronic mail, and operating systems.
  • Operates all assigned equipment in the computer room in accordance with the scheduled shift and computer room workflow log.

Qualifications

Education Level
High School Grad or Equivalent

Experience
Required: 1 Year (minimum) of IT Help Desk Experience

Skills:

In-depth knowledge of:
  • Windows 10
  • O365
  • Exchange
  • Printers

-Strong customer service skills

-Strong communications/phone skills

-Ability to work well with people

-Enthusiasm for learning

-Logging and processing support calls

-Installing software, printers and scanner

-Solving password problems

-Talking to clients and computer users to determine the nature of any problems they encounter

-Ability to handle change

-Punctual

-Self sufficiency

-Average to above average typing skills

-Ability to document

-Ability to multi task
