The ideal candidate should have experience in successfully managing farm operations to include the following responsibilities:
- supervision of all farm employees
- maintaining sustainable farming techniques
- breeding cattle with a successful breeding program with accurate records
- building business relationships that lead to profitable sales of cattle
- hay production sufficient for the farm operations
- budgeting and overall financial responsibility
- management of the inventory and maintenance of all farm tools, machinery, equipment and buildings
