Description

Responsibilities:
  • Work across Engineering and Support teams to ensure day-to-day health, uptime, service reliability, availability, efficiency and server infrastructure through continuous applications monitoring.
  • Serve as the primary point of escalation for production issues work towards an effective SLA/SLO.

Requirements:
  • Highly experienced on Kubernetes deployment, Helm charts.
  • Experience in Yaml configuration.
  • Strong background in DevOps concepts and tools.
  • Experience working in API Gateway platforms like Apigee.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Can effectively communicate issues and resolutions to all levels of the organization.
  • Design and build scalable and reliable systems and infrastructure.
  • Flexible working in off hour shifts to support US timing.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools and best practices such as Terraform or CloudFormation, as well as knowledge of configuration management systems (Puppet/Chef/Ansible/Salt).
  • Hands on experience with AWS.
  • Solid experience to setting up/maintain CI/CD pipelines and the processes(GitLab/Jenkins/Bamboo).
  • Extensive experience with container based technologies and orchestration such as Docker, Kubernetes, and EKS/AKS/GKE.
  • Experience with modern observability/monitoring systems such as Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus etc.
  • Proficiency in scripting (Bash/Python).
  • Work with source control such as GIT and SVN.
  • Has a strong background in infrastructure build out and maintenance.
  • Familiarity with security best practices to ensure the data remains secure.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • B. Tech/Graduate with 7+ years of professional experience in IT industry 5+ years of experience as a SRE.
