The Sr. Systems Engineer is responsible for designing and maintaining the Systems Infrastructure across multiple business systems and corporate applications.

Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Sciences or equivalent work experience.
• 8+ years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting a Windows Active Directory Infrastructure which includes operating in a multi forest design.
• 8+ years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting a virtual environment with emphasis on using VMware.
• 8+ years of experience with MS Windows Server Operating Systems.
• 8+ years of experience working with HP and/or Cisco Server hardware.
• 8+ years of experience with high availability implementation including clustering, replication technologies and disaster recovery strategies.
• 3+ years of experience designing, implementing, or supporting an Enterprise Backup system.
• 3+ years of experience designing, implementing, or supporting a Storage Area Network environment
• MCSE and/or VCP certifications preferred.
• Experience working with automation tools such as vRealize Orchestrator, Puppet, or Chef is a plus.
• Experience working with cloud providers such as AWS or Azure is a plus.
• Linux Server Operating Systems experience a plus.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
• Ability to manage small to large sized infrastructure and application projects.
• Demonstrated ability to accurately estimate project work based on written requirements, complete work within scope and on schedule under pressure of deadlines.
• Self-directed, with proven problem solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and communicate to various levels of management.
• Ability to work in a rotational 24/7 on-call status, during non-business hours in times of crises.
• Understanding of several network components such as Cisco and Juniper layer 2 and 3 equipment, load balancers and firewalls is a plus.
