Dynamic Ophthalmology Practice Seeks Talented Office Manager

Northwest Eye Clinic is hiring a full time Office Manager. Our clinic uses the latest advances in medicine and technology to ensure that our patients receive the best possible medical and surgical eye care. Analytical and independent thinking that enable you to create strategies that respond to pressure points in the clinical operations, cultivate and mentor staff to perform at their highest potential, and manage change throughout the practice as we continue to grow.

Medical practice financial acumen, particularly your ability to prepare, interpret, manage, and reports within a private medical practice, as well as create strategies that respond to market and business-related influences.

Essential functions include:

Management of an organization with over twenty employees, required.

Direct supervision of front office staff.

Hands-on practice management experience in a medical setting.

Oversight of daily clinic operations, patient scheduling and flow, staffing, etc. First point of contact for patient concerns/complaints delivering an empathetic, solution based response as per clinic policy.

Oversight of clinic inventory and ordering processes to optimize vendor relations and reduce clinic expenses

Working closely with IT and phone vendors to ensure all systems are optimized at all times.

Serving as a primary liaison to legal counsel in addressing legal issues i.e. employee contracts, human resource laws, partnership contracts, clinic policy and procedures.

Oversight and maintenance of EMR system and administration, ensuring all state and federal regulations governing EMR and the release of information is followed.

Implementation and maintenance of protocol(s) for medical clinic adverse events per state and federal laws. Oversight and training of staff on OSHA laws and safety, updating as necessary.

Oversight and maintenance of a clinic marketing plan and marketing budget. Review revenue reports for marketing campaigns, evaluate marketing expense/revenue and customer acquisition costs.

Working knowledge of standard accounting principles and budget development/management ' notably cost center accounting and cost accounting for medical services.

Thorough grasp of surgical and non-surgical revenue cycles including the ins and outs of medical billing.

Drive initiatives in the management team and organizationally that contribute to long-term operational and financial excellence.

Knowledgeable about business data analysis, report preparation, dashboard management, and the development of strategic action plans.

Education and Experience:

Minimum 3 years’ experience in medical practice management preferred

Minimum 3 years’ experience in direct supervision preferred

Bachelor's degree or MBA preferred but not required

Proficient with Quick books, MS Word/Excel, and EMR experience

Compensation:

Comprises a combination of base salary plus performance-based incentives.
