JOB SUMMARY
The Rotating Classroom Teacher works with specified program sites on a regular schedule. When at sites, the Rotating Classroom Teacher reports to the Site or Field Supervisor and works with site teams and volunteers to implement classroom learning experiences for three to five-year-old children. The Rotating Classroom Teacher provides additional classroom support in order for the Site/Field Supervisor, Teacher or other team members to focus on tasks outside of regular classroom duties, with priority given to smaller sites. Additionally, approximately 30% of the Rotating Classroom Teacher’s time will be dedicated to non-classroom functions that support overall service area requirements including but not limited to ChildPlus documentation, NRS data entry, and health tracking and follow-up. Maintains working knowledge of Head Start Performance Standards, agency policies and procedures and other applicable regulations.
