Description An opening for an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk at a a company in the Real Estate - Sales & Lease field has opened up. This position is offered through Robert Half. The Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk role offers an exciting opportunity to become an integral part of a company in the Real Estate - Sales & Lease industry. Based out of the Bellingham, Washington area, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a long-term contract / temporary opening. This department offers prospects of career growth and advancement. The Accounts Payable Clerk position will require to match and batch code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks.ResponsibilitiesManage the process of verifying, logging, and mailing checks, including expediting special handling
Execute full-cycle A/P
Help with internal and external audits as required
Carry out additional tasks as assigned
Manage department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it on a daily basis
Support the AP/Finance Department by completing administrative tasks
Organize, register, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents
Perform daily processes and controls correctly and punctually, ensuring company policies are followed
Provide customer service to internal business partners Requirements - AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
Prior experience in an A/P role preferred
Established communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds
Attentive, ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
Solid understanding of Accounts Payable (AP)
Oracle experience required
Deep understanding of Microsoft Excel
