POSITION DESCRIPTION
POSITION TITLE: Housekeeper
REPORTS TO: Housekeeping Manager or Assistant Hsk Mgr.
POSITION SUMMARY: Cleans guest rooms and bathrooms according to the property's standards. Starts part-time, with possibility of full-time depending on performance. Weekends/holidays are a must. Requires flexible schedule.
TASKS AND COMPETENCIES:
1. Enters and prepares room for cleaning.
2. Makes the bed.
3. Dusts the room and furniture.
4. Replenishes guest room and bath supplies.
5. Cleans the bathroom.
6. Cleans the closet.
7. Vacuums the carpet.
8. Checks and secures the room.
PREREQUISITES:
Education: High school graduate or equivalent desired. Must be able to speak, read and write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
Experience: Previous housekeeping experience beneficial.
Physical: Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, hearing, visual acuity. Requires the ability to push and pull housekeeping carts and equipment.
