Home Care Professionals are an essential part of our team. As a Home Care Professional, you will work one-on-one with individuals in their homes and assist them from activities of daily living to lifelong goals.

Non-exempt, Hourly, Part-time
Job Summary:
Provide services to individuals with disabilities and aging individuals. Assist each participant with his/her daily needs, as specified in the individual's care plan. Conduct oneself in a professional manner, and abide by the agency's policies and procedures at all times.
Job Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to):
Carry out all aspects of client care plan as directed by the Program Director
Thoroughly documenting shift in appropriate logs to communicate with co-workers as well as reading previous shift logs prior to working scheduled shift
Maintain confidentiality of client records and information to the highest degree
Inform the Program Director of client, guardian/representative and community interactions
Transport clients as directed by the client's care plan
Accompany, supervise, and assist clients on community outings
Abide by and understand agency policies and procedures
Assist and instruct clients in emergency evacuation procedures
Establish and maintain positive communication and working relationships with participants and the people they interact with in all aspects of their life
Immediately report evidence of abuse or witnessed neglect to appropriate agency and Program Director
Offer clients support, guidance, and direction in carrying out their responsibilities, activities, and decisions
Perform and maintain clients' living environment (household chores such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, etc.), if directed by client's care plan
Job Requirements:
WA State driver license
Able to pass a criminal history background check
At least 18 years of age
Have obtained a high school diploma or GED
