FLSA Status:
Non-exempt, Hourly, Part-time (30 hours or less per week)
Job Summary:
Responsible for assisting each participant with reaching his/her fullest potential spiritually, intellectually, emotionally and physically. Responsible for assisting each participant with his/her daily needs (Activities of Daily Living - ADL's).
Job Responsibilities:
Providing participants with daily personal care and supervision to ensure their safety and well-being at all times
Knowing, understanding, and regularly reviewing care and support plans and how to document accordingly
Staying informed of participants' needs, as well as staff's, and communicating effectively
Supporting participants to complete activities of daily living (ADLs) as independently as possible
Actively engaging with participants and helping them access and participate in community activities and events
Maintaining participants' living environments (through household chores such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, etc.)
Establishing and maintaining positive communication and working relationships with participants and the people they interact with in all aspects of their life.
Immediately reporting evidence of abuse or neglect to appropriate agency and Program Director
Job Requirements:
WA State driver license
Able to pass a criminal history background check
At least 18 years of age
Have obtained a high school diploma or GED
