A growing luxury linen company, located in North Ferndale, is seeking an experienced and motivated individual for our Marketing Coordinator opening. This position is responsible for supporting the marketing communications function by coordinating, organizing, assisting, and executing various marketing communications activities, which may include overall project management, development of marketing collateral, trade show support, photoshoot coordination, assistance in management of online, email and social media marketing, and other marketing projects. Responsible for organic SEO, paid search marketing, paid display marketing, paid social media marketing. Candidate will take daily task direction from Marketing Consultant (manager) while also under direction from Director of Sales/Marketing as needed. Must be comfortable working with virtual online tools such as Skype and Google Hangout to work with remote consultants.

The position will be required to work from our Ferndale, WA corporate office (this is not a remote work opportunity). The position will work Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm PDT (with an unpaid 1 hour lunch break). Some overtime may be required during photoshoots and the busy seasons.

Wage is negotiable/depends on experience “ Health Insurance benefits start first of the month after 60 days. Paid Time Off, Paid Sick Leave, Paid Holidays and 401k with 3% employer contribution.

Job Functions (includes but is not limited to):

Assists in planning, monitoring and maintaining social media and online marketing strategy. Works with manager to maintain strategy; responsible for daily/weekly tasks involved with social media and online marketing. Assists in the writing/editing of internal and external communication pieces such as emails, social media posts, blogs and content updates.

Assists manager with implementation of strategy for online content creation and development, working within established brand design guidelines.

Assists in planning, monitoring and maintain organic and paid search marketing campaigns.

Prepares and executes on all new or refreshed marketing campaign launches. Oversees the scheduling of development, proofs, and execution of all customized web, email, and direct mail marketing campaigns.

Works with internal departments and/or third-party organizations to manage workflow on the creation of specific marketing content and updates.

Responsible for sales collateral development and production: works with manager to set strategy for ad copy, literature and sales-aid creation and development, makes certain designer has all production information.

Supports trade shows, marketing-sponsored events and meetings. This includes display strategy; negotiations with show management, graphic production, product positioning, merchandising, lead capture, and post-show analysis.

Responsible for the project management of all retail collateral, photography, video, public relations and advertising initiatives.

Essential Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED required. Specialized training, related college coursework, or certificate preferred.

Minimum of two (2) years previous experience in search engine marketing role, marketing communications, or similar related experience required. Prior experience in the spa industry or retail background is a plus.

A 2-yr or 4-yr college degree in business, marketing or related highly preferred. Relevant work experience may substitute.

Must be well versed in organic SEO, paid search marketing, paid display marketing, and paid social media marketing with a proven track record of success.

Must have in-depth knowledge of Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Google Search Console, Facebook marketing suite including Instagram paid advertising.

Working knowledge of HTML/CSS and Adobe Suite (Photoshop/InDesign).

Previous experience working in a B2C and/or B2B sales environment a plus.

Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and the Internet as well as other database management systems and computer applications.

Demonstrated detail oriented project management skills required.

Must have strong investigative, problem solving and customer responsiveness skills, and have the ability to communicate in a pro-active and professional manner.

High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competitive priorities simultaneously within a team environment. Must possess strong communication, prioritization, organizational and time management skills.

Must have a high level of integrity, self-accountability and be self-motivated.

This position is available to start immediately. All potential new hires are required to submit to a background check, reference check and pre-employment drug screen (which includes screening for marijuana).
