MARKETING DIRECTOR
The Bellingham Training & Tennis club is hiring for the position of Marketing Director. BTTC is a 45 year old club located in the heart of Fairhavena vibrant community in south Bellingham with the perfect demographics for our facility. In the last 18 months we have remodeled the entire facility and added almost 3000 square feet of fitness/training area. We are looking for a Marketing Director to leverage and expand our brand shift from a quiet old tennis club to a vibrant, world-class, training & tennis club.

The Marketing Director is accountable for creating an effective marketing program that shows return on investment for creating leads and promoting memberships and services. Youll work with the Owner to define a quarterly plan and weekly/monthly work scope and with the Member and Guest Services Manager (responsible for sales) for creative input on promotion goals.
RESPONSIBLE FOR:
1. Create marketing plan to expand our brand and meet our membership and program utilization goals.
2. Work within budget to create and implement marketing and promotion campaigns for Club membership and programs including print, radio, and electronic media, such as
a. Write and edit copy for online and printed collateral to strengthen our culture and community
b. Define and use segmented lists for appropriate target messages
c. Create opt-ins and Landing pages
d. Create and apply lead funnels using to build email lists and sell programs/products
e. Create other direct response opportunities (such as magazine and newspaper ads and radio campaigns) that reflect our brand and community
f. Taking pictures for Club programs and events.
g. Taking videos and editing for use in social media and other outlets.
3. Monitor success rates for marketing campaigns (internal and external) to report success in performance and evaluate return on investment.
a. Testing different versions of promotions to understand performance rates.
b. Have understanding of performance standards to know when money is well spent or campaign needs to be adjusted or closed (how many leads produced).
4. Social Media: Create and manage social media paid advertising targeted campaigns to include Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, and other social media as appropriate for target markets.
5. Internal Communications: be the voice for the Club. Including creating appropriate media campaigns to inform our members and clients about specials, programs, and events.

b. Internal communications (flyers, brochures, bulletin boards)
c. Emails: including weekly newsletters and other email communications as needed to produce sales.

WAGES
This is a full-time, salaried position with bonuses
$40,000-$55,000 per year
BENEFITS
Paid Sick Time: Accrue up to 52 hours per year with max 40 hour rollover to the next year.
Paid Vacation: For the first 5 years, accrue up to 80 hours paid vacation per year.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Certifications
College degree in marketing or 5 years marketing experience
3 years marketing experience (preferably for a private business)
Experience with creating:
Facebook ad campaigns
Marketing plans
Printed design work
Creating voice for your client
