OVERVIEW OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Processes customer files, pre-flights the jobs and prepares them for imaging, ensuring the highest quality products. General pre-press workflow, pre-flighting, proofing, resolving file issues.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
3-4 years of Pre-Press Technician experience preferred
Related courses of study, degree preferred
Advanced knowledge of all Adobe Creative Suite applications a must
Experience using plating software, ESKO preferred
Able to multi-task and pay attention to the smallest of details, with an excellent work ethic.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
2-year degree in Graphic Design or similar
Experience using Preps prepress software
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Be able to read and comprehend job tickets.
Must have solid communication skills, verbal and written.
Must meet high print production standards and tight deadlines
Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.
Any additional duties as assigned by Supervisor or Plant Manager.
ADDITIONAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays.
Stay up-to-date on software and procedure changes.
Maintain regular, on-time attendance.
