Maintenance workers are responsible for general duties involving the up keep of the facility and its equipment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
-Basic hydraulic knowledge (make and change hose fittings, replace solenoid valves, manual valves and cylinder replacement, etc.)
-Electrical trouble shooting ability (110v, 240v, 480)
-Fleet maintenance (forklifts, flatbed truck, and pickup truck)
-Read technical manuals to understand equipment and controls
-Disassemble / Reassemble machinery and equipment when there is a problem
-Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning components
-Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning power tools (hand grinders, routers, saws etc.)
-Detect minor problems by performing basic diagnostic tests
-Clean and lubricate equipment or machinery
-Install or repair machinery and equipment
-Ability to create and follow a preventative maintenance schedule
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Ability to understand and follow established work procedures, including mandated safety guidelines
Must be able to read, write and speak English
Ability to work safely
Ability to comprehend instructions
Ability to remain calm and professional during peak periods
Ability to troubleshoot malfunctions and situations as they arise and notify appropriate staff of problems beyond scope of normality
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to stoop, lift/reach overhead, manual dexterity, and frequent repetitive movements
Ability to attend to a workstation for long periods of time
