We seek outgoing and passionate Budtenders who are looking for part time employment. Our Budtenders will assist managementwith the activities and operations of the store, while abiding by store policies, procedures and operational guidelines. Our Budtenders are responsible for helping customers, checking them out, cash handling and customer service. You must possess the ability to listen well and provide appropriate recommendations and suggestions to enhance our guests' experience. We are looking for the right people for this role: great work ethic combined with high energy & enthusiasm for the products, industry, and company is a must.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for sales and customer experience by maintaining a tidy, safe, and inviting store environment
- Ensure the sales floor is properly stocked and the presence of the store is well maintained
- Promote a work environment that is positive, customer-service oriented, and compliant with established policies and procedures
- Maintain product knowledge
- Greeting customers warmly when they enter in a timely and energetic fashion
- Providing fast, friendly, and informative customer service
- Accurately use and maintain the Point Of Sale (POS) system
- Correct cash handling and discount application
- Verifying proper, documentation and ID for customers
- Maintaining extensive knowledge of our product offerings, various consumption methods, and cannabis in general
- Must have excellent attendance and professionalism
- Other duties as assigned by the Management Team
Competencies:
- Exceptional Customer Service skills
- Desire to learn about our products
- Knowledge of basic computer skills, Point of Sale software and cash management is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and a team-player mentality
- Fun attitude and strong work ethic
- Understanding of applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations as they pertain to the industry, personnel law, safety regulations, local municipal codes and organizational rules, regulations, directives and standard operating procedures.
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail experience preferred
Other Misc. Requirements:
- Must be 21 with valid ID
- Professional, tidy appearance and good personal hygiene
- Must be on time and ready to work when scheduled with reliable transportation
- Cannabis knowledge is preferred
- Must be able to accommodate scheduling expectations including weekend, evening, and holiday shifts assignments
Job Type:
- Part time and full time positions available
Wage:
$13.50 + Tips to start $14.00 + tips after 8 week probationary period
Experience:
- 2+ years of face to face service industry experience required retail, sales, restaurant, bar, winery, brewery, barista, hotel, hospitality, host, hostess, customer service.
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
