Industry leading Independent Insurance Agency (go ahead, check us out on Yelp/Google - www.1stRateIns.com) offering an OUTSTANDING SALES OPPORTUNITY for a high energy, enthusiastic person who loves to WOW clients! We are looking for that special person who will grasp this opportunity! You will work and train directly with agents that have decades of experience.
You will be part of a team that has a common goal: do what's best for the customer. We want somebody that is seeking a career, not just another job. This position allows you to work from home once you're trained. The schedule is covered by multiple Agents, which accommodates for flexible scheduling and days off. We are looking to fill multiple positions immediately. We have proven techniques to generate sales.
Living in Snohomish, Skagit or Whatcom counties would be preferred, but not necessary. You will spend one day/week outside of your home office to market to your territory.
You are paid a commission on all new AND renewal of policies. You will be considered self-employed, be paid pure commissions and issued a 1099 at the end of the tax year. I know, commission only is scary. The HUGE advantage is that you're walking into an already established territory. Previous agent had health issues that lead to an abrupt leave of absence.
Experience in the insurance industry is not required. You will need a Property and Casualty insurance agent's license before starting. If you're not already licensed, you will need to take a 36 hour course and pass the test administered by the Washington State Insurance Commissioner's office.
