We are seeking someone to do regular weekly facility maintenance & semi-skilled handy person work once a week, appx 6-8 hours/week (sometimes 10-12 if there are larger projects). Can be split into two days. Work on 10 beautiful acres of mature forest, maintaining our three living structures and multiple out-buildings. Indoor & outdoor work.
Work ranges widly from manual labor such as putting down driveway gravel and refinishing decks to semi-skilled labor such as minor plumbing repairs and painting.
Qualifications:
Some experience & decent skill with a broad range of property maintenance tasks, including semi-skilled tasks
Strength enough to manage tall ladders and do labor-intensive projects
Aptitude for efficient but thorough, careful, independent work
Quick learner
Interpersonal skills for interacting in a friendly & respectful manner with the various folks who live here
Comfort working outside in all seasons; comfort on ladders/roofs (we have a secure harness for you)
Available for the foreseeable future (i.e. not someone seeking another job that would prevent them from being able to do this one)
You would work for us as an independent contractor and be paid as often as you like. Several references required. Current driver's license required.
