ProScapes Inc. is a leading local, reputable & growing landscape company looking to fill an immediate opening for an experienced Carpenter. ProScapes is the leading landscape company of Skagit Valley and NOW serving Whatcom County. Established in 2001 and still growing, we have an immediate need for an experienced carpenter. This position would work out of our Ferndale, WA location.
If you have the ability to:
Build quality decks, fences, pergolas and arbors
Prepare layouts
Assist in framing for concrete installation projects and labor for hardscape/landscape projects
Operate various hand tools, power tools and equipment used to complete carpentry duties, including but not limited to: circular saw, table saw, pneumatic nail gun, drills; other tools used for measuring, cutting, fastening; drilling
Help schedule; coordinate work on jobsites
Lift a minimum of 50lbs - load; unload materials, equipment; tools. And to carry out strenuous physical tasks that may require long periods of standing, crouching; walking
Perform preventative maintenance on tools; equipment by conducting routine inspections, lubricating, cleaning
Supervise a team of 1-3 employees
Complete; submit daily paperwork reporting time; job costs
Be equipped with and use proper Personal Protection Equipment at all times; ensure any fellow crew members are also equipped with and use proper Personal Protection Equipment
Comply with ALL company policies; regulations
Work in accordance with all local health; safety laws; regulations

And meet the following requirements:
Completion of High School, some college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
Minimum 3-5 years of experience with general carpentry, finish carpentry; formwork
Ability to read; interpret plans, drawings; specs
Possess a valid driver's license and a good driving record
Speak; write in English
Bi-lingual is a plus

Fast paced environment
Work near and around heavy equipment; vehicles on a regular basis
Work outdoors in various conditions including, but not limited to: heat, rain, dust, noise; cold
Must be able to accommodate flexible hours and occasional weekend work
