General Contractor, Pacific Building Envelope, Inc. is looking for skilled carpenters to join our team. Our company specializes in multifamily apartment and condominium exterior renovations. Projects range from one or two day selective repairs jobs; on up to several month, year-long siding projects. We are currently looking for multiple carpenters to join our team for a project starting in Bellingham. Candidates must possess a wide range of skills; have reliable transportation and a clean record to work on these occupied homes. Compensation includes an hourly wage of $22-28 hour plus paid medical insurance after 60-day evaluation period & 401K.
Common tasks and desired skill-set include:
Selective demolition
Wood stud framing, shoring, sheathing, dry-rot repairs
Integral sheet metal flashings
Waterproofing (e.g. liquid applied urethane system, sheet goods, etc.)
Installation of windows and doors with flashings
Deck repairs
Siding replacement (e.g. fiber cement, wood, vinyl, stucco, etc.)
Limited concrete wall and small flatwork
Interior drywall patching, texturing and finishing a plus
Application of sealants and paints
Selective interior millwork and finish carpentry a plus
Candidates with special endorsements, certifications and equipment operating skills (e.g. aerial lift, backhoe, forklift, bobcat, etc.) will be looked upon favorably.
