Valemo Controls is a brand (child company) of MSI Motors, who manufacturers a wide range of motorized products for many industries; including products for the HVAC market here in the US for over 20 years.This includes producing hydronic zone valves for the 'big brands' in the international markets for over 15 years; as well as some select models here in the USA.
We have developed what we believe is a superior zone valve product for Valemo Controls, building off those 15 years of manufacturing them for others. Particularily the motor, the most critical part, we only use metal gears - no cheap plastic parts for us! Afterall, motors are what MSI Motors specializes in.
We have been producing and selling our zone valves and replacement products under the Valemo Controls brand here in the US since 2013. Primary markets currently have been in the service & replacement section, and now we are aiming to get in front of more new construction installers.
Valemo Controls is separating our sales and service members from MSI operations.
We need to build a sales team! Looking for our first true sales person now, who ideally could/would build a team under them.
Ideally, we are looking for someone with plumbing knowledge/background, who has professionally installed boiler systems with zone valves. And/or someone that has gone through trade school to do so. Sales experience a plus, but not required.
Or the right canidate could be someone with a knack to sell and build relations; so long as they also have the ability to learn the ins-and-outs of the product line and the industry.
This is a commission only position, and realistically the initial commission will not be a sufficient income to live off of. Hopefully, within a year's times, it would be. And grow each year afterwards; and has the potential to be a very good income. How fast sales and commission grows, will be determined by how motivated you are. We are well stocked on inventory.
Responsibilities include:
Reaching out to plumbers by phone, email and/or in-person, for direct sales.
Computer Skills - need to be competent at inputing orders and tracking orders, through online sales platform. Some basic Excel knowledge is needed for internal planning as well.
Weekly Reporting - simple format TBD to keep in touch with efforts, wins/losses, and inventory projections
Weekly Face-to-Face Meeting - Hours/time is completely flexible, except a weekly meeting will be established to touch base and review the weekly report, and be a planning session. Located in Bellingham.
Travel as required - expenses covered TBD
