Job Summary:
As the Maintenance Technician Supervisor, you are responsible for guiding and training the maintenance directives pertaining to the performing of highly diversified duties that include installation, troubleshoot, repair, and maintenance on production equipment. According to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems, and processes to support the achievement of the plant's goals and objectives. As the Maintenance Tech Supervisor, you will lead and be considered the subject matter expert with all things related to maintenance. You will also develop training material and station maintenance expectations for all other Maintenance Technicians.
Essential Job Functions:

• Leads a group of maintenance technicians and coordinates maintenance activities accordingly.
• Manages all preventative maintenance activities.
• Understands and communicates equipment failures, determines cause(s) and makes necessary adjustments or repairs.
• Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.
• Oversees accurate records of equipment failures and repairs.
• Ensures that safety, health, and environmental legal and company standards are complied with, emphasizing safety as a top priority.
• Regular, physical attendance on a predictable basis is essential to the performance of this job.

• Strong Ability to set-up and maintain a system for providing preventive maintenance and service for miscellaneous production equipment (ADT dicing saws, precision grinders, pumps/compressors metal vapor deposition system, etc.).
• 2+ years supervisor experience.
• 5+ years of equipment maintenance technician experience.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot electrical problems.
• Working knowledge and application of modern production and material methodologies such as JIT, TQM, 5S, Lean Manufacturing.
• Ability to train, coach, motivate, evaluate, and discipline employees.
• Experience working in the medical device industry (ISO, GMP, FDA, QSR, etc.).
• Position requires regular documentation and communication regarding production status.
• Competent with PC and basic PC tools (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
