Role Responsibilities
As a Mobile Device Management Support Engineer, you will work collaboratively with product leaders and other experienced Engineers to execute our combined product visions. You will spend most of your time working to build across a variety of multiple platform applications. In this role, you will be responsible for:
Deploying applications and configurations via Apple Configurator and MDM clients (MobileIron, AirWatch, Intune, Jamf, SCCM, Jenkins etc.)
Utilizing Apple Business Manager (formerly Apple DEP)
Troubleshoot application installation, network connectivity and management issues
Monitor and triage help desk ticketing systems and SLAs
Documentation skills - creating and updating knowledge base articles
Adhere to team best practices. Cut once, measure twice mentality
Worked in fast-paced production environments, where attention to detail and ability to multitask are vital
Skills and Qualifications
BA of BS Degree in Computer Science, 5+ years’ MDM experience or
9+ years’ IT experience, 5+ years’ MDM experience
5+ years’ experience deploying, integrating, managing and troubleshooting MacOS and iOS in customer environments
5+ years’ experience managing Mac and iOS via Mobile Device management (MDM) solutions, including device enrollment, device and application management and troubleshooting
Team player with desire to learn, grow in role and not afraid to ask questions. Accuracy and strong attention to detail are critical components of this role
Proven ability to present technical content with supporting data to illustrate effectiveness of processes as a subject matter expert
Previous experience as a DevOps Engineer
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience utilizing tools:
MobileIron and/or Jamf
Programming languages (Python, Go, Swift, Bash)
Jira Services Desk/Confluence
HTML/HTML 5, CSS, JS, ReactJS
Apple Configurator and MDM clients (MobileIron, AirWatch, Intune, SCCM, Jenkins)
Apple Business Manager
Ability to build and modify APIs
Familiarity with code repositories and checking in code
Monitor and triage help desk ticketing systems and SLAs
