Proven experience in supply chain, project management and production planning in a medium to high volume environment, knowledge of scheduling platforms.PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF POSITION:The Sr Manager, Site Materials Management ensures supply and manufacturing continuity across all aspects of CAR T operations at the Bothell, WA cell therapy manufacturing facility. This position plays a strategic role in the CAR T site supply chain operations managing aspects of inventory control and logistics. As a member of the CAR T Supply Chain Operations leadership team, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to meet objectives and goals.Education: Bachelors degree in supply chain, engineering, life sciences, information systems, business management or related fields; advanced degree preferred.Experience
10+ years relevant work experience required, preferably in a regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
5+ years experience in manufacturing and supply chain areas.An equivalent combination of education, experience and training may substitute.
Proven experience in supply chain, project management and production planning in a medium to high volume environment, knowledge of scheduling platforms.Key Responsibilities
Engage with Strategic Sourcing partners to identify and mitigate material supply risk while ensuring appropriate site inventory levels
Responsible for regular supplier and contractual performance evaluations and periodic business review meetings with stakeholders and suppliers
Collaborate with Global Procurement and Sourcing Organization to ensure supply continuity and develop alternate sources of materials
Manage site inventory availability and accuracy in conjunction with Global Supply Chain Organization
Manage cleaning supplies and PPE procurement to use process to ensure business continuity and adequate supply plans
Collaborate with Global Supply Chain and Site Quality groups to escalate inventory levels
Develop long term capacity models for CRT, refrigerated, and frozen along with external third party storage capabilities
Develop, manage and communication site materials management KPIs and Metrics
Acts as materials management and supply chain subject matter expert for site activities relating to new or improvements to supply processes and applications
Manage site logistics activities related to material transfers between sites and inventory control aspects of manufactured goods
Build and maintain a high achieving organization to support clinical and commercial CAR T manufacturing activities
Engage with Systems & Technology partners for COI/COC and ERP responsibilities
Develop dashboard to monitor performance against metrics and KPIs
Build a collaborative environment that fosters decisive decision making and accountability
Manage contractual framework through collaboration with various internal departments (Legal, Quality, Manufacturing) to negotiate contracts, manage termination/renewal and modifications to contract scope.
Lead as a change agent in a fast-paced environment to promote flexibility, creativity, and accountability to ensure project prioritization and adequate resource allocation
Lead multi-functional and multi-location teams through project identification and implementation
Create an environment of teamwork, open communication, and a sense of urgency.
