Cloud Architect (Azure/AWS/Google Cloud Platform) - Everett, WA - $120K Up to $120K depending on experience
A financial services business turning over circa 2 billion dollars, is looking for a Cloud Architect who can advise the best route for them to take in terms of migrating to the cloud from physical infrastructure. They need someone who has prior experience in evaluating, road-mapping and deciding upon the most efficient option to suit this business' requirements.
This is an exciting role which will allow you to plan, problem-solve and tackle an array of tasks. You will be responsible for crafting a highly scalable, flexible and resilient cloud architecture. You will provide guidance across networking, storage, operating systems, virtualization, SQL databases and mid-tier technologies (application integration, security etc.), working with the other IT teams within the business. This is a large-scale project where there will also be plenty of exciting work to keep you busy beyond completion.
Technical Skills they are looking for include: AWS Cloud Experience (AWS Solutions Architect Certification desirable) Microsoft Azure (Certification desirable) Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) Microsoft environment - Windows Server 2019, Windows 10, Office 365 General Infrastructure knowledge (Networking, Security, DNS) Cloud Security awareness Design, implementation, or consulting experience Experience in cloud infrastructure architecture Experience migrating or transforming legacy solutions to the cloud
