The Environmental Control Systems (ECS) Engineering is an organization of highly skilled women and men responsible for defining and integrating airplane systems for airplane cabin pressurization, air conditioning, ice and rain protection, fire protection, and avionics cooling. We are a team that supports all Boeing models both in development and in airline service. These models include programs such as the 737MAX, 747-8, 767/KC-46A Tanker, 777/777F, 787, the B-52 Engine Replacement, VC-25B Presidential Aircraft, the new generation 777X, or all-new airplane(s) that are currently in early developmental stages.
Boeing Commercial Airplanes Mechanical Systems Team is looking for a Mid-Level Mechanical System and Design Analysis Engineer to join our team in Everett, WA, or Renton, WA. This Individual will work within the Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA), Environmental Control Systems organization to develop, produce, deliver and support customers who fly Boeing airplanes. Enable high aircraft performance while operating in compliance with regulatory (FAA, EASA, etc.) requirements.
This individual will support the development and documentation of mechanical and fluid system and thermal environment requirements to establish the system design. Supports the development, maintenance, or modification of system, component, and installation designs/proposals to provide design documentation to downstream groups. Performs and documents analyses to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications. Contributes to supplier development, test, and production activities and directs the supplier to optimize integration and achieve program goals. Supports system components' designs/proposals standards to provide installation and detailed documentation. Trains others. Works under general direction.
This position will support one of three sub-teams within Environmental Controls Systems (ECS)
Ice & Rain Protection (ATA Chapter 30) Bleed Air Supply (ATA Chapter 36) Air Conditioning (ATA Chapter 21) Low-Pressure Analysis
This position will support one of three different Airplane Platforms and work with:
777X Development 737MAX-10 Development 747/767/777/787 Production and In-Service Support
