Bleyhl Co-op is looking for a proactive Inventory Coordinator
Purpose:
Directly responsible accurately receiving all wholesale products, including fuel, propane, fertilizer, chemicals, and other products. Communicates product receiving’s to department team members to ensure appropriate turnaround time of inventory accuracy and pricing as directed. Ensure monthly inventory cycles are completed and discrepancies are reconciled.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for verifying all received product against supporting documentation.
Develops and maintains an efficient filing system for all relevant paperwork
Responsible to ensure all shipments are received accurately and timely
Responsible for printing relevant receiving reports to ensure that all are received or sent with no outstanding PO's or transfers
Responsible for initiating returns of products as necessary
Accountable for the input and integrity of appropriate back end paperwork and responsible to forward for approval to appropriate manager
Monitors and investigates variances related to receiving documents including purchase orders, transfers, etc.
Responsible for visually checking and alerting management to any receiving that does not match PO or packing slip
Reviews results of monthly inventory cycles
Verifies accurate inventory counts
Investigates discrepancies between system quantity and physical counts
Conducts physical counts on inventory as necessary
Cross-trains for other roles within the administrative office
Communicate with suppliers, receivers, drivers and staff for smooth shipment
