Tri-CU Credit Union is seeking a Loan & Member Service Receptionist

We are a fast growing dynamic community-based Credit Union, recently relocated to our new large office on the corner of Highway 395 and 19th Ave. in Kennewick. We are hiring a member service and loan receptionist to help members with basic loan questions, and scheduling of appointments, general member account services and other basic transactions from a receptionist desk in our lobby. Person may also function as a full time Member Service Representative when needed (teller), and would perform cash transactions and balancing duties. Other duties may include clerical work such as word processing, spreadsheets, scanning and filing documents as needed. This person will also have responsibilities to assist with incoming phone calls and taking messages as needed. They must provide excellent customer service and assist in promoting a positive and friendly image of the Credit Union.

Education/Experience

At least 2 years experience working with the public in a retail or office environment

High School graduate or equivalent

Bilingual Spanish/English required

Job Requirements/Skills

Work Monday-Friday from 9 am to 6 pm

Basic math and computer skills

Professional appearance, dress and attitude

Sit 75%-95% of workday, stand 10%-25% of workday (Stand up to 95% of the day when MSR)

Occasionally lift 50 pounds

Compensation:

Pay is an hourly wage starting at $12.00 per hour or more, based on qualifications and experience.

For permanent employees there are excellent benefits including: 3-weeks paid vacation, paid holiday and sick time, an employee pension contributed at 5% of gross wages, fully paid LT/ST disability insurance, and a $825 monthly health stipend for employee purchased insurance (taxed).

This is a full-time job offered for a temporary period until 12/31/2019. If the employee is retained past Dec 31, 2019 it will become a permanent position with all benefits.
