At Gee Automotive in Liberty Lake, we are looking for a couple of great people. If you would love to do business with someone just like you, then please apply. We are so confident we can help you be successful we're willing to pay a $3,000 a month minimum guarantee for the first three months. Run the math, it works out to a little over $17 an hour. Or if you start off successfully, we have one of the most competitive pay plans. You'll get paid whatever is greatest.
We'd prefer it if you don't have auto sales experience. The whole idea of what a car salesperson is continues to evolve. Today the average customer, who walks into a dealership, has spent 13 hours researching used vehicles and 16 hours researching new vehicles. The customer is an expert before they step into the dealership. 65% of their research time is done with their smart phone during lunch breaks and in between annoying commercials.
Because of their research, today's customer wants a salesperson that is professional, polite, calm and confident. They want to know that you know your stuff, can answer their questions and that you remain professional and polite the entire time.
We have training classes to assist you with the knowledge necessary gain confidence. This confidence will bring a calm and help put both you and the customer at ease. Some are multi-day workshops where we pay for your travel, food and lodging. Other workshops happen daily at the dealership in our "Culture of Coaching" daily classes. Many others can be done on-line and are provided by the manufacture.
What we have a hard time teaching you is how to be professional and polite. Are you a happy person? Do you bring smiles to the people around you? In the book "Big Potential" by Shawn Achor, the hidden 31% is discussed. 31% of people are positive but don't generally express it until they are around an individual who is openly happy and positive. We hire happy people! (Oh, also motivated people)
