Position Summary

As a Territory Sales Rep you will be joining our fast paced, multi-divisional growing company.

The ideal candidate will:

-Prospect and generate new commercial business as well as perform cold-calls in the field to generate new permanent sales.

-Support existing clients and have an ability to conduct equipment demonstrations.

-Evaluate customers’ needs and provide solutions based on our services.

-Monitor the market and competitors' services, prices, auctions, and sales.

-Utilize our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to help manage daily contacts and follow-ups.

-Travel 3 to 5 days per week to cover the territory, as well as up to a week per quarter to attend auctions, trade shows and training.

-Represent J. Stout Auctions at professional association conferences and trade shows.

-Assist with equipment appraisals on a variety of equipment.

-During auctions, be on site to network with clients and assists with auction needs.

-Meet established goals for territory development and sales quotas.

Education and Experience Requirements

-Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Marketing, Sales or related field preferred.

-5+ years' experience in cold calling sales with strong track record of success.

-Experience in developing and executing territory sales strategies.

-Excellent presentation, communication, negotiation, and closing skills.

-Must be persistent, energetic, and organized.

-Self-motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed goals.

-Previous work experience with heavy equipment, commercial trucks, and/or equipment rentals.
