Bookkeeper/Office Assistant
Double J Excavating is currently seeking a Bookkeeper/Assistant Office Manager to join our TEAM. Qualified applicant to be involved with all aspects of the Company Bookkeeping, Payroll, Financial Reporting, Project Billing, etc.
Schedule is somewhat flexible and can be discussed. However, the typical scenario would be from approx. 8:00-4:00 Monday-Friday.
Essentials -
Above Board Ethics
Strong Attention to Detail
Strong interest of or prior experience in the construction industry
Ability to work independently and/or with little supervision
QuickBooks (Desktop) proficient
Microsoft Office (Excel/Word/Outlook) proficient
Strong organizational skills/ability
Able to manage multiple deadlines
Ability to adapt and be flexible in a continually changing industry
Strong written/grammar skills
Enthusiasm, professionalism, and a strong work ethic
Duties include -
Prepare monthly invoicing/project billings
Process/Maintain A/R, A/P, Payroll, etc.
Work with CPA as needed to maintain impeccable financial reports
Assist with preparation of required project start-up paperwork
Assist with Contract Preparation
Maintain paper & electronic project and company files
Assist Office Manager with various tasks including insurance & bonding requirements, etc.
