HAPO Community Credit Union is now accepting applications for a Full-Time, experienced Maintenance Support position. The Maintenance support staff is responsible in providing general facilities maintenance for all HAPO buildings, infrastructure and equipment. The maintenance team works collaboratively with all HAPO departments to ensure a safe and healthy working environment for all our employees and members.
Essential Job Functions:
Helping to maintain the overall maintenance of facilities and grounds; including internal systems; property exteriors, lighting, signs, painting etc.
Maintenance for all HAPO buildings, infrastructure and equipment including, but not limited to, HVAC repair and preventative maintenance of individual or central plant equipment, plumbing and electrical systems, general plumbing, general carpentry, painting, lighting and changing furnace filters.
Other duties include correspondences between branches, supporting miscellaneous employee requests and maintaining HAPO equipment and vehicles.
Ability to use common tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches.
Experience with precision measuring instruments or electronic testing devices.
Experience performing routine maintenance.
Apply safe use and operation of all heavy powered equipment such as man lifts including the use
of light hand and power tool operations.
Must be capable of handling snow removal equipment and apply practical application to ensure the safety of members and employees in inclement weather conditions.
Understand basic operation of utility systems (as applicable).

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills required
Ability to work independently
Excellent communication skills
Quick learner and able to multi-task.
Flexible and works well under pressure.
Requirements:
3-5 years light construction experience or equiv.
Basic MS Word and Excel skills
High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) certificate.
Valid Drivers License
Ability to lift up to 75lbs
Available to work weekends and overtime as needed
Must be able to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions
Occasional Travel will be required
Related degree from Technical /Trade School preferred
